AACo is the largest cattle and beef producer in the country. They own and operate properties comprising 6.5 million hectares of land – or 1% of Australia’s entire land mass. We were tasked with designing and curating a space for AACO at the 2021 Beef Australia trade show in Rockhampton, QLD. The space included a 10m x 5m air-conditioned marquee, along with a 70 sqm outdoor entertainment area. With lockdowns still affecting the country and pressuring local suppliers, we had to transport most of the props and furniture from Sydney – along with a team of builders, production managers and stylists. The end result was a stunning space that included everything from live entertainment and an Instagram wall, to wagon wheels and a windmill. The experience was a success – even during uniquely challenging times.
