L’OR ‘Barista’ Coffee Machines
An established coffee brand launched a new coffee machine into the growing capsule coffee market. Here’s what we did.
Background
L’OR coffee capsules were already a household name, well-established in the grocery channel for several years. It was time to expand their offering. In 2019, in conjunction with Philips, JDE launched L’OR Barista Coffee machines in Australia. The Barista Coffee machines were being sold online, through traditional ERT channels and department stores including Harvey Norman, JB Hi Fi, The Good Guys, Bing Lee, and Myer.
How we helped – assisted sales at the point-of-purchase (POP)
We developed a comprehensive and diversified promotional campaign. Our in-store demonstrations we complemented by year-long promoter program that included:
- best performing retailers for the category
- busiest trading days during the week for the product and timings
- peak seasons (Mother’s Day, EOFY, Father’s Day, Black Friday sales, Christmas period)
- the client’s below the line and and above the line promotional calendar.
We took care of all the little details, including the strategy for the product launch and other events. Weekly reporting, including Excel Dashboards, kept the client up to date.
